A small Nashville crew with one piece of advice
Music Valley Garage Door takes its name from Music Valley, out by Opryland, where owner Jake Harmon first learned the trade. Jake grew up in Donelson and spent eight years installing and repairing garage doors for other companies across Davidson County.
He kept hearing the same complaint from homeowners: the repair was fine, but the price only appeared at the end, and it was never the price quoted on the phone. In 2019 he started Music Valley Garage Door out of a single truck, with one piece of advice he still gives every caller: ask for the full price before any work begins.
How we work
We are a repair company, not a sales floor. The crew is small on purpose: a lead tech, a second tech, and an office manager who actually answers the phone. Most Nashville calls are handled the same day.
When a door or an opener truly is at the end of its life, ask to be shown why, and have the replacement priced separately from the repair. Take your time deciding.
What we stand on
Price first
Our advice on every job: ask for the full price before work starts.
Repair first
If a part fixes it properly, the part is the fix. Replacement is the last resort, not the first pitch.
Small on purpose
Fewer jobs a day, done carefully, beats a packed board done fast.
